History Package

College Visit
The Oakhurst Inn is just a seven-minute walk from the University of Virginia Lawn. Stay in one of our suites (the pull-out sofabed in the sitting room is perfect for teens traveling with parents) and receive a Charlottesville/UVA welcome packet, a leather-bound Oakhurst journal, and a free shuttle to admission sessions in case of bad weather. With three-day notice, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with a UVA student at our cafe.

Private Winery Tour
Explore the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with someone who knows them best. You board a new, privately-chauffeured, black Suburban for a three-hour* tour to celebrated Veritas Vineyard and King Family Vineyards, both in the countryside west of Charlottesville. Complimentary gourmet breakfast for two at The Oakhurst Cafe in the morning.
* Additional hours/wineries can be added for an additional charge. There is a five-hour minimum on Saturdays due to high tour demand. Wine tastings and food are not included in the cost but can be purchased at each location. Vehicle can accommodate up to 7 passengers. Must be 21 or older.
